In the heart of Brighton’s North Laine district, Bond Street opened in 1999 and quickly built a loyal following.
This is where, in 2001, Bagelman created the first authentic bagel bakery in Sussex. All our bagels are handmade and vegan, baked fresh every day at Bagelman’s Bond Street bakery using only the finest Shipton Mill flour.
Bagelman’s artisan bagels are made using just six ingredients; flour, water, salt, sugar, yeast & agave syrup mixed to form a heavy dough. They are then hand-rolled, proved, steamed and baked until they are golden brown, just long enough to achieve a perfectly chewy, dense, sweet and delicious bagel.
The now-famous Bagelman menu of filled bagels includes favourites such as the Reuben and the Lox Deluxe, or you can build your own from the extensive range of premium deli-style fillings.
