It was over twenty years ago in 1999 that we opened the first Bagelman store located in the heart of the North Laine district. Open all day, every day, serving delicious freshly baked bagels and great coffee with a friendly smile, we quickly built a loyal following. Here you can either grab lunch on the go or sit at our curvy window bar watching the world go by with a freshly roasted Pelicano coffee and filled bagel.

In 2001, we acquired the warehouse behind the shop and knocked through to create the first and only bagel bakery in Sussex. To this day, this is where all our bagels are lovingly baked by our bakery team seven days a week.

In 2004, Bagelman opened on Church Road in Hove. A bigger shop with a family feel and plenty of seating, our Church Road store was instantly popular with local families and traders alike.
